Stairs are necessary both inside and outside the buildings to bridge largevertical distances. In high buildings we can find lifts and escalators too. Stairs are usually located in the centre of the build ing. They have connection to rooms and offices. Stairs can be straight, round or may consist of two or more straight pieces connected in angles.
